Protecting your team: TriEx

The flu is not simply a cold. It is a highly contagious disease caused by a virus and it is risky for both the people who have it and for the businesses where they work.

When someone who has the flu sneezes, coughs or even talks, the flu virus is expelled into the air and may be inhaled by anyone close by. How can you protect yourself and your work environment from the consequences of the flu? By having a flu vaccination, of course.

TriEx, a Gallagher Bassett Company, begins its programme of workplace vaccinations in both Christchurch and Auckland in late March. The team knows only too well how this disease can impact the efficiency and profitably of businesses and they encourage employers to join the programme. The businesses will benefit because of less downtime with sick staff and the employees’ likelihood of contracting the flu will be reduced.

TriEx’s experienced nurses visit workplaces to carry out the vaccinations. The company can also provide vouchers nationally for ease and flexibility for those staff not available on vaccination day. These vouchers can be redeemed at vaccinating Unichem or Life Pharmacies. There are also information packs to share with employees to help promote the flu programme.

To secure your preferred date and time book early on 0800 FLU JAB (0800 358 522) or email flu@triex.co.nz. You can also find out more about TriEx’s flu vaccination scheme on www.theflu.co.nz.
